REPORT ON JIMMY LARCHE’S VISIT TO THE ASHANTI REGIONAL AMPUTEE FOOTBALL UNION AT SOCIAL CLUB ON SATURDAY,

Welcome Address
Coach Benjamin Annor welcomed Mr. Jimmy Larche to Ghana precisely Kumasi, he introduced Mr. Jimmy Larche to the Ashanti Regional Amputee football Union as a friend who has come all the way from U.S.A to visit the players and the Union .
Introductory Message
Mr. Jimmy Larche started by quoting that “one can have excuses or results”, he said watching the team train very hard, doing pushups, running around with the ball inspires him and he wish young people in America could come to Kumasi and watch the team train with determination and purpose. He said, people sometimes make excuses that they don’t have money, they don’t have the best things in life, and they give a lots of unnecessary excuses.

Mr. Jimmy Larche quoted the scriptures from the book of John 5:1-9. He said that according to the Bible, when Jesus asked said to the ill man who has been on his bed for a long, do you want to get well Jesus asked? The man started giving all sort of excuses that he has no one to put him in the water when it gets stirred by the angels of the Lord. Not knowing that all that the man needed was Jesus himself who was standing right in front of him. Then Jesus said to the man “be whole and immediately he was whole”. Mr. Jimmy said that, all that the man needed was Jesus and not excuses. He told the team that excuses never yield any results but with Jesus and the right attitude; nothing is impossible.
Mr. Jimmy Larche told the team that if someone had told him that, a time will come in his life where he will be in Ghana talking to heroes like the amputee football team, he wouldn’t have believed it and he thank God for coming to Ghana for the first time. He said he is highly impressed watching the team training and displaying God given talents and skills in soccer. He wishes he could take the spirit and enthusiasms with which the team train back to America to demonstrate it to the youth in America because with that spirit and strength, nothing is impossible.
Conclusion
The meeting with Mr. Jimmy Larche was very successful. Coach Benjamin Annor thanked Mr. Jimmy Larch for coming down from the United States to visit Ghana. The amputee football team and the Ashanti Regional Amputee football Union were grateful for Mr. Jimmy Larches’ visit.
We are thankful and grateful to God for the visit of Jimmy Larche from Tennessee, U.S.A. He and his wife Founded the Breakaway Sports Outreach, USA. Jimmy visit to Kumasi City was God sent and a great blessing to everyone, especially Rescue Sports Foundation, Ghana. We also appreciate the coming of Rev Ed Arcton from Accra to be part of the team to received Jimmy Larche at Kumasi and for the Sports program. Coach Ben Annor, the Director of Rescue Sports Foundation was the host.
