Welcome

Coach Ben Annor welcomed Mr. Jimmy Larche to Ghana precisely Kumasi, he introduced him to the Wheel Chair Track and Field Team as a friend from U.S.A, now in Ghana for an official visit to the team over here in Ghana.

 Introduction

Jimmy Larche then introduced himself to be a native of Tennessee, where country music originated from. He told the track and field wheel chair team that he organized summer camp for kids back home in Tennessee, some of the kids don’t have parents, others have parents but the parents are locked up in prison cell, some of the kids come from poor families and some of them are facing a lot of challenges. He told the team he wishes he could put everyone on a plane to Tennessee during one of the summer camps, to share their passion and enthusiasms display in his presence. I believe this passion and commitment will help them change their way of thinking and shape a lot of lives in Tennessee, he said.

Mr. Jimmy Larche share word of encouragement to the team from the scriptures (John 5:1-9) he said, no matter the situation you are facing now in life, Jesus is always the answer, excusers never gets anything but rather with Jesus, all things are possible.

Mr. Jimmy Larche told them how much God loves every one of them, and that they are all created in the image and likeness of God. He said he is an American but that’s not who he is likewise we also are Ghanaian but that’s not who we are. We are made in the image and likeness of God, this is our true identity.

He said, I wish that one day the team could be with him in the United States but if his wish does not come true, then he love that we all make it to Heaven, a place where everything is perfect and everything is whole, it would be a great experience; but until then we would have to press on, keep pushing our wheel chairs with purpose and the vision that there is a bright day ahead.
