Oppong James is the General Secretary of Rescue Sports Foundation. He is currently a teacher and research assistant at the Centre for Disability and Rehabilitation Studies (CEDRES) at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). He completed his senior high education at Accra Academy in the Greater Accra Region. Oppong James is a team player, an excellent communicator with good interpersonal and analytical skills. He enjoys working in challenging environments to meet and exceed organizational targets. With good communication skills and competence eventually earned him the Welfare Chairman and Executive member in the Electoral Commission of Ghana Association of Disability and Rehabilitation Students (GADRES), he is currently the Welfare Vice-Chairman and Executive member in the Electoral Commission of the Ghana Association of Disability and Rehabilitation Students. He is currently the General Secretary of the Association of Para-athletics and Power Lifting, Ashanti-Region. He is also currently the Vice Chairman and Financial Secretary of Rickmes Foundation which seeks to create awareness on hydrocephalus and to solicit funds to support children with hydrocephalus for them to be able to undergo surgery. His core values are accountability, credibility, and integrity. He aspires to be an advocate for persons with disabilities within Ghana and the world at large.
