MINUTES OF MEETING WITH CHURCH SPORTS REPRESENTATIVES ON SATURDAY, 23RD MARCH, 2019 AT KESSBEN FM PREMISES ASEDA HOUSE-KUMASI

The meeting begins with an opening prayer said by Coach Ben who also was the Convener and moderator the meeting.

PURPOSE OF MEETING
The purpose of this meeting was to meet Church representatives to officially educate them on procedures for Church Teams player registration and other activities between the periods from the 23rd of March 2019 to to 13th of April 2019 before the church league commences officially.
DISCUSSION
Registration of Players: Coach Ben said a maximum of 24 players is to be registrar for each Church Team to participate in the Church league. Player registration forms were given to participating churches for them to fill in the data, in addition passport picture of each player registered and forms submitted will be taken to complete proceeding. Coach Ben added that the registration begins from the 23rd March 2019 and ends on the 6th April 2019.
Workshop on Sports Evangelism: Coach Ben said that workshop training program will be organized for representatives of participating churches from the 4th and 5th of April 2019. He further said the purpose of the workshop is to demonstrate to the outside world that Christians can participate in soccer/football games for fun and to win souls for Christ. He said soccer or football is a global game that the youth cherish a lot and through the church leagues our youth of today will be discipled, mentored and properly equip with Bible tools to enable then live with great passion and love for God, the Church and God’s work. Coach Ben also discussed the league points system of calculations for each Team Coaches to understand its practices and methods of calculation.
Launching of Church League: Coach Ben, the convener, announced that the Church league, will be officially launched on the 6th of April 2019. Representatives of participating Church Teams are expected to assembly at Kessben FM and Kessben TV premises for official press briefing on the incoming Church League event. Individual Churches are also expected to be bragging about who is going to win the church league in a way of promoting the league.
Commencement of Church League: The Church league will officially commence on the 13th of April 2019 at OKESS School Park, OWASS School Park, Prempeh College Park and Paa Joe Park. These are the proposed venues of playing field for the soccer/football events 2019.

The meeting came to a close at about 11:00 am after Coach Ben has offered the closing prayer.
